Watch: Funny Mashup Shows How Spider-Man's J. Jonah Jameson Would Run the Daily Planet

A hilarious new video shows what it would be like if Spider-Man's legendarily grumpy boss and newspaper editor J. Jonah Jameson ran the newspaper Superman works for, The Daily Planet. The video by DrMachakil combines footage from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel and Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice. Watch it below:

The video takes full advantage of J.K. Simmon's legendary performance as the mustached, cigar-chomping JJJ. In the video, he face off against Clark Kent and Lois Lane. As you can imagine, he's shown to have very little patience with either of them.

It's pretty funny to see JJJ's comical dramatics contrasted with the more serious and subdued performance of the Man of Steel actors. Even the colors are duller when the video switches over to them. Say what you will for JJJ's editorial skills but he sure knows how to inject life into the newsroom.

What do you think of the video? Would you like to see a crossover between the Daily Planet and the Daily Bugle? Does this make you want to see J. Jonah in Spider-Man: Homecoming?
