Watch: Every Visual Change in Star Wars Battlefront II

It's safe to say that DICE has successfully brought Star Wars Battlefront II back from the dead, and the game that launched in 2017 is a way more different animal than it is now in 2020. Thanks to Cinematic Captures on Youtube, we get to see the differences that have been added to the game in the years since its release.

Keep in mind that these are just visual changes. Besides updated character models and animations, we've also gotten new game modes, heroes, and maps. It really is great to see how everything has evolved since, and I think there's no way to go from here but up.

Though Battlefront II is seemingly fixed, there are still some things that fans would like added to the game. For one, there is a severe lack of cosmetics, and some think that it could help with the game trying to earn some more money from players. What's more, a lot of game modes have been considered ‘dead' for a while, seeing as players have a hard time finding full lobbies.

Either way, there's still a lot coming to the game. By the end of the month, DICE promises to bring us back to the Original Trilogy era and will be porting over the Scarif map from Battlefront 2015. Hopefully, they also find a way to bring in more heroes like Dengar, Greedo, Director Krennic, and Jyn Erso.

For now, you can play Star Wars Battlefront II on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
