Watch: Every Easter Egg and Reference from Avengers Endgame

Avengers: Endgame is out, and while everyone is poring over the Easter Eggs and references in the film, Mr. Sunday Movies from Youtube has come up with his own in-depth breakdown. Hopefully, he caught some things that flew over most people’s heads.

Though a lot of people are familiar with Taika Waititi’s Korg, I’m sure a lot of people missed that he was wearing clothes that are similar to Waititi’s fashion in real life. Waititi had actually popularized wearing a pineapple shirt, and I think it’s the same pattern when we look at Korg in the film.

This was also something that wasn’t mentioned, but I think the imagery of the Hulk carrying the building over everyone was a reference to a cover from Secret Wars. Interestingly enough, directors the Russo Brothers have also expressed interest in adapting Secret Wars to a film, and I thought it was a pretty neat nod in the movie.

For now, Endgame has broken box office records by being the first movie to ever make over a billion dollars in its opening weekend. The number can only go up from here, and we could be looking at the highest grossing movie of all time. I really don’t want to jinx it, but I have a feeling that Marvel Studios won’t be able to recapture this type of success in a really long time.

Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers -- Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, and Bruce Banner -- must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos -- the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.
