Watch Deadpool Actor Ryan Reynolds Crash Hugh Jackman's X-Men Reunion

With everyone forced to self-isolate, we've been getting a lot of celebrity Zoom meetings. What's fun is, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, and several other stars had reunited for an X-Men reunion, and they were unceremoniously stopped by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.

Watch it all go down:

As you can see, the conference was going swimmingly with the original cast of the X-Men including Halle Berry (Storm), Ian McKellen (Magneto), and Famke Janssen (Jean Grey), until Ryan Reynolds decided to crash it. What's great is, Reynolds also comes in with the new generation of X-stars including James McAvoy (Professor X)and Sophie Turner (Jean Grey/Phoenix), and we're left with stars from X-Men Origins: Wolverine with one surprise appearance from Liev Schreiber (Sabertooth).

For now, we don't know what Disney plans to do with the X-franchise, but there are definitely plans to bring mutants into the MCU. Some suspect that Marvel is already going to start planting seeds in the upcoming WandaVision series, but we could be looking at more with the Doctor Strange sequel which is said to be introducing a concept of the multiverse.

If you ask me, they should just start fresh with the X-franchise, and the only character they should really salvage from that world is Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool. As for how it goes down, I'm pitching they should have Wanda alter reality and become the "Mother" of Mutants, but if Feige and his team come up with something better, I'm all up for it.

No release date has been set for the next X-movie, but The New Mutants is aiming for a release this year after the whole COVID-10 fiasco.
