The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer released on Monday brought a lot of fans to tears — tears of joy!
One of the film's lead stars Daisy Ridley, who plays a scavenger named Rey, set her alarm so she could watch the third Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer when it was released last night, and her friend filmed her emotional reaction to it.
"Totally emotional seeing it for the first time and so so so incredibly awed to be part of this incredible legacy," Ridley posted on Instagram. In the video itself, she exclaims through a puddle of happy-tears, "Oh my god, it's amazing!"

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will blast into theaters on Dec. 18. There will be 7 PM showings on Dec. 17 in select theaters as well.
