With 2019 having lackluster endings for shows like Game of Thrones and Star Wars, itās kind of refreshing to have a finale that actually makes senseālike BoJack Horseman. The show had just ended its six-season run last month, but Netflix is still out there promoting the show. Just in, we have a new video of the cast and crew saying goodbye to BoJack the depressed horse.
Check it:
Itās very interesting to see how the show has evolved, and how everyone in the cast kind of didnāt know what they were signing up for. Sure the first few episodes were kind of shallow, but once you get into the real meat of BoJack Horseman, youāll find that itās one of the most insightful and realistic shows to ever come out of Netflix.
We donāt know whatās next for showrunner Raphael Bob-Waksberg, but he did team-up with BoJack writer Kate Purdy for Amazon Primeās Undone. The show stars Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel) and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), and is a look into mental health. Itās also animated, but more akin to A Scanner Darkly rather than BoJack Horseman.
We donāt know if weāll ever get a show like BoJack Horseman again, but Iām sure this has opened doors for more animated series to try and tell a more mature story. Heck, even kids shows can do that nowadays. Have you even watched Steven Universe?
For now, you can catch the final episodes of BoJack Horseman on Netflix.
