Watch: Cast of BoJack Horseman Looks Back at 6 Seasons

Ā

With 2019 having lackluster endings for shows like Game of Thrones and Star Wars, itā€™s kind of refreshing to have a finale that actually makes senseā€”like BoJack Horseman. The show had just ended its six-season run last month, but Netflix is still out there promoting the show. Just in, we have a new video of the cast and crew saying goodbye to BoJack the depressed horse.

Check it:

Itā€™s very interesting to see how the show has evolved, and how everyone in the cast kind of didnā€™t know what they were signing up for. Sure the first few episodes were kind of shallow, but once you get into the real meat of BoJack Horseman, youā€™ll find that itā€™s one of the most insightful and realistic shows to ever come out of Netflix.

We donā€™t know whatā€™s next for showrunner Raphael Bob-Waksberg, but he did team-up with BoJack writer Kate Purdy for Amazon Primeā€™s Undone. The show stars Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel) and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), and is a look into mental health. Itā€™s also animated, but more akin to A Scanner Darkly rather than BoJack Horseman.

We donā€™t know if weā€™ll ever get a show like BoJack Horseman again, but Iā€™m sure this has opened doors for more animated series to try and tell a more mature story. Heck, even kids shows can do that nowadays. Have you even watched Steven Universe?

For now, you can catch the final episodes of BoJack Horseman on Netflix.
