Watch Binging with Babish (ft. Jon Favreau) Make Grogu’s Blue Macarons from The Mandalorian

If you aren't familiar with Binging with Babish on Youtube, it's a channel that attempts to cook any kind of food you see in movies or television. His most recent episode has him making Grogu's (or Baby Yoda) blue macarons and who should be a guest on the show but none other than The Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau.

This week, the creator of The Mandalorian, the founding father of the MCU, the man/myth/legend himself, Jon Favreau joins us to discuss some recently-spotted blue macarons being snacked upon by The Child. What do they taste like? Are they an homage to blue milk? Can I get cast in the next Marvel movie, perhaps as a superhero with cooking powers? Only one way to find out.

Since macarons are a complicated dish to prepare, Babish also comes up with a recipe for simple blue sugar cookies so that parents can have fun preparing them with their kids. Personally, I always thought that macarons were overrated, and it's kind of silly how complicated and precise you have to be just to make them.

If you love films, there are several other videos on the channel where Babish attempts to make food from movies, and they don't just have to come from Star Wars, but other properties that have some kind of interesting food in them. Babish has even tried replicating some of the food that was made on Favreau's old movie Chef.

We don't know what else kind of food is coming to The Mandalorian, but you can catch the second season now on Disney+.
