Warner Brother’s Bleach Live-Action Film Is Set To Stream On Netflix

Last month, Warner Brothers released the very first Japanese live-action version of the anime series Bleach in Japan and in the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal.

Not only did the film do pretty well at the Japanese box office, opening at #4 during its opening weekend, it also received positive reviews from the Bleach anime fanbase – a pretty surprising result considering that many anime fans were finding it difficult to enjoy anime live-action adaptations during the past few years with the failed live-action version of Fullmetal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell.

Now, after its successful run, it looks like the live-action version of Bleach is going to make its way to Netflix.

According to a report by ComicBook.com, Netflix has just announced that Warner Brother's Bleach was going to be one of the additions to the site in September, telling subscribers that the film would be available for streaming this September.

The film will be joining the other live-action anime movies in the site, like the poorly-received Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note, the latter of which started off as a Netflix original.

This is definitely great news for American anime fans who've been following the original Bleach anime and manga by Tite Kubo. There's been a piquing interest over the movie ever since it got good reviews, however, the film never got to full premiere in the US.

Bleach is set to make its way to Netflix on September 14 this year.
