A lot of fans are excited about Thor: Love and Thunder simply for the fact that it will mark the triumphant return of Natalie Portman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Upon learning Jane Foster's exciting comeback, diehard fans of the franchise instantly speculated that Foster's friend and assistant Darcy Lewis, played by Kat Dennings will also be making an appearance in the fourth Thor film, Apparently, Dennings has no clue either regarding the fate of her character.
Speaking with ET, Dennings said that she's not quite sure if she's even part of Thor: Love and Thunder. She shared: "No, still no idea!" Dennings also claims that she would've known by now if she's involved in the project considering production begins soon. "I don't think I'm in it. I feel like I would have heard by now. So literally my answer is I have no idea, I have even less an idea than I had before."
On the bright side though, Dennings will still make her Marvel return via the Disney+ series WandaVision. We still know very little about the role Darcy plays in the series given the fact that she's never met Wanda nor Vision, but I'm guessing she was put there to bring laughs just like she did in the Thor franchise. But who knows? She might play an important part in the MCU spinoff show and quite frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing Darcy evolved from a comedy act to something more.
WandaVision is scheduled for release this year on Disney+.

Marvel
