Marvel's WandaVision Gets Synopsis Plus New Stills

Though the box office will be free of any Marvel films this year, Disney+ is set to launch Marvel Phase 4 with WandaVision before 2020 ends. Just in, we have some new images from the series, plus a synopsis of what to expect from the show.

These comes from Entertainment Weekly:

Here's also a description of the plot of WandaVision:

Set afterEndgame, the series starts with the married witch and android living in the idyllic town of Westview. … But as the newlyweds cycle through the decades — and the familiar TV tropes — they realize their white-picket-fence life may not be as gleamingly picture-perfect as it seems.

Series writer Jac Schaeffer also explains, "We find Wanda and Vision living a blissful suburban existence, trying to keep their powers under wraps." While Wanda had basically just moved things with her mind in past films, I'm ready to explore just how powerful she could be; I mean, she could bend reality in the comics, and some speculate we could finally see that happen in this series.

Admittedly, WandaVision is one of the weirder shows to come out of Marvel, and it's about time as well. As successful as the Infinity Saga was, a lot of fans had started feeling franchise fatigue, what with every entry having a clear cut "Marvel formula." Hopefully now we're going to be entering a more creatively adventurous age with Phase 4, and WandaVision is an example of where that could go.

No release date has been set for WandaVision, but expect it on Disney+ sometime before the end of 2020.
