At this weekend's WonderCon, Paramount Pictures announced that former SNL comedian Fred Armisen would voice the alien villain Krang in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. This quite a surprising casting choice for an actor who hasn't really voiced a strange villain before.
During the panel, producer Andrew Formdiscussed how Armisen would be a good fit for the villain and said, "Anyone who's a fan of Krang will love what Fred is doing. It's unbelievable."
As fans of TMNT already know, Krang is an alien brain warlord from a different dimension who reside inside a giant android exoskeleton. He will make his first appearance in the sequel, which will be released in theaters on June 3, 2016.
