Virgin River Season 4 is now available on Netflix. Fans are well aware that the show's timeline is slow and perplexing. Alexandra Breckenridge, however, is here to clear things up.
Virgin River Season 4 to Address Some Cliffhangers
Mel Monroe (Breckenridge), a nurse and midwife from Los Angeles, is the protagonist of the drama series. Mel falls in love with Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), who owns the town's pub, after moving to Virgin River following a series of catastrophic life events.
In Season 2 of the show, Jack was shot and left for dead at his tavern. Despite the fact that Jack survived, the mystery remains unresolved.
People were in shock at the Season 3 finale. Virgin River Season 4 binge-watching fans now understand that many of their questions will be addressed. In addition to not knowing the father of the child, Mel also told Jack about her pregnancy, as is well known, Preacher (Colin Lawrence) was killed.
In addition to Hope (Annette O'Toole) being in a terrible vehicle accident, Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) was detained for shooting Jack. The claimed grandchild of Doc (Tim Matheson) has also arrived in town.
Virgin River Season 4 will, according to showrunner Sue Tenney, provide us with all of the answers we've been waiting for since the series' dramatic conclusion.
“If we get the actual reveal [in season 4], it would detail more of how this all was intertwined,” Tenney told Us Weekly. “The webbing of that story goes all the way back to the first season, so it’s a connective tissue that goes through four seasons.”
Time Jump Between Virgin River Season 3 & 4
Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) has been pregnant with twins since Season 1. However, she is only now showing in Virgin River Season 4. Breckenridge is aware that the series timeline moves slowly.
When asked about the time change between seasons, Breckenridge says only a few weeks have gone.
“I think it’s around seven to 14 days,” she told Glamour. “Somewhere in that zone.”
She also revealed information on Mel and Charmaine's pregnancy timelines.
“I think Mel’s only been in Virgin River for maybe four months,” Breckenridge explained. “It’s a hundred and some odd days; there’s a chart for it. She’s only nine weeks pregnant at this point, and Charmaine is like five months, apparently.”
Mel & Jack’s Future
According to the trailer, Jack will be going through a difficult period. He seemed to become more and more reliant on booze while coping with Charmaine and Mel's pregnancy. From the looks of it, this might result in another breakup between him and Mel in Virgin River Season 4.
We don't think the former Marine would have had enough time to think things through with such a brief interval of time.
