Virgin River Season 4 Release Date, Spoilers & Update: Alexandra Breckenridge Shares Where Mel and Jack Stands in Next Chapter

Virgin River Season 4 has seemed to take an eternity to arrive. The Netflix drama is based on Robyn Carr's popular book series. Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse who moves to the small town to heal, and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), the town's bar owner, are at the center of the series.

The pair struggled to find their foothold in the first three seasons of Virgin River, and just when they appeared to be on stable ground, everything changed. Breckenridge is now revealing important insights about the couple's future in the upcoming installment.

Alexandra Breckenridge spills details about Mel and Jack for Virgin River Season 4

Since Virgin River Season 4 appears to be in post-production, Breckenridge has provided important facts with fans about Mel and Jack's romance in particular.

Mel confessed her pregnancy to Jack in the Season 3 finale, and she also admitted that she was unsure if he was the father.

Her disclosure also caused a hiccup in his marriage proposal.

“Obviously we’re going to watch Mel and Jack navigate the baby that we don’t know who the father is,” Breckenridge said during an Instagram Live via Hello. ” “We’ll see if they end up getting engaged in season four or not.”

Virgin River Season 4 will be extra long

Virgin River's third season premiered in July 2021. The new season's launch date has yet to be revealed by Netflix. It is anticipated that it will premiere on the streaming service this summer.

Though Netflix has been tight-lipped about the series, fans will be pleased to learn that Virgin River Season 4 will have 12 episodes rather than the usual 10.

Virgin River Season 4 Release Date

Unfortunately, we do not know when the new season will be released on Netflix. Virgin River Season 4 wrapped filming in December 2021, so we're hoping for a summer release.

According to the Season 3 timeline, the end of filming in December 2020 predicted a July 2021 release. We're hoping for Season 4 to premiere in July of this year, though we wouldn't mind if it came sooner!
