Fast and Furious actor Vin Diesel might be playing Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy star Groot, but that doesn't mean the actor can't take on another superhero movie franchise, this time starring in the film adaptation of Valiant Comics as Bloodshot, a former soldier who finds himself with the power of regeneration and metamorphoses.
Releasing a video from set on his Instagram, Diesel tries to assuage fans concerns about the movie, saying that he just saw the sizzle real of the Bloodshot movie and that it's going to do great in cinemas.
This is what the actor wrote on his post online:
"This is week 9, and I just saw a sizzle reel from this movie that is going to blow. Your. Mind. I'm so proud to be filming here in Africa, the crews have been incredible. My producing partner who started 'Fast and Furious' with me, Neal Moritz, is also my producing partner here, and his head is just blown. He can't contain his excitement about what the world will see when they see 'Bloodshot' in 2020."
Bloodshot is currently in the middle of production, however, it seems like Diesel just can't help but try and address fan's concerns over the upcoming Millennium movie. The film is currently working on production in Cape Town, South Africa – one of the international locations of the movie. Bloodshot is also set to feature scenes from Prague and the Czech Republic.
Hopefully, we'll get to see more of those scenes next week.
Bloodshot makes its way to the big screen Feb 21, 2020.
