Dragon Ball Super: Broly is coming out in Japan on December 14 but fans of Funimation's English dub will be happy to know that they can check the film out in January. While no one hates the Japanese cast, Sean Schemmel's Son Goku and Christopher Sabat's Vegeta are considered iconic by fans as well. Another noteworthy voice actor for the franchise is Vic Mignogna, who voiced Broly in three films.
Fans were worried about Mignogna since Sabat didn't mention him during SDCC. Thankfully, during a Manchester Comic-Con, a fan was able to ask Mignogna if he would be voicing Broly and he gave a fairly confident answer.
Mignogna saying he's the only English voice of Broly around is a good indication of him reprising his role. The trailer didn't make it too obvious since the growl Broly lets out was basic. Mignogna was able to make Broly shouting Kakarot a bit iconic, if somewhat annoying. No matter how you feel about his constant Kakarot shouting, you can't deny that it's basically a part of his character now.
Voicing the character since the 90's, Mignogna has since lent his voice to Broly in a number of video games, including recent releases like FighterZ and Xenoverse 2. He also sang the English version of the Dragon Ball Z Kai theme song, which is a fun little tidbit.
