It's a sad day for anime fans as Brice Armstrong has passed away. Older anime fans will remember Armstrong as the narrator for the original Dragon Ball and he also voices plenty of other characters fans will remember. It's truly unfortunate news and our hearts go out to all of Armstrong's friends and family, along with his fans. He was an immensely talented person and there's no doubt that he's going to be missed.
ComicBook.com has confirmed that Armstrong died of natural causes at the age of 84. While no memorial services have been announced as of this writing, expect one soon. In the meantime, fans and co-workers have released several tributes to the actor, a lot of which will melt your heart. Armstrong voiced a number of characters over the years, from every other minor role in Yu Yu Hakusho to the definitive voice of Captain Ginyu in Dragon Ball Z, there's a very good chance that the actor has left an impression on you. While fans have gotten used to the new voice of Ginyu, we will always remember Brice's voice of the character for years to come.
Thank you for everything Brice Armstrong. Rest in peace.
