The premiere of Venom is only three weeks away and you can finally get your tickets for the highly anticipated Tom Hardy flick.
There is little doubt that the Venom opening weekend is going to be crazy. Luckily, you can now purchase your tickets ahead of time on Fandango.
Venom has just been confirmed for a PG-13 rating. This is certainly a surprise for fans who have been hoping that Sony could push for an R-rating considering the violence that the symbiotes are capable of. It might not be as bloody as we are hoping for but we can still expect plenty of action in the theatrical cut. If this doesn't satisfy you, there's always the possible unrated cut that will be released in the future.
It has also been reported that the film's runtime will be 1 hour 52 minutes. This might seem a bit short for a comic book movie. After all, Spider-Man: Homecoming was 133 minutes long and it didn't even show how Peter Parker got his powers in the first place. Nevertheless, it looks like we'll be skipping Eddie Brock's origin story and will be heading straight into his first encounter with the symbiote. We could also be meeting other surprise symbiotes like Donna Diego and Scream.
Venom also stars Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman), Riz Ahmed (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Jenny Slate (Parks and Recreation), Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Reid Scott (Veep), and Scott Haze (Child of God). The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland).
Venom hits theaters on October 5.
