Even though Tom Holland's Spider-Man is back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there's still a chance that the web-slinger will be having more adventures with Sony. And while there's no confirmation with regards to the hero meeting Venom yet, the movie's producer teases its possibility.

In a recent interview with Comic Book, Venom producer Matt Tolmach was asked about whether or not Spider-Man will encounter Venom in the near future. When pressed for details regarding the matter, the producer could only give a small fraction of information. "We have big plans," he said. That's it.

Even though he could only offer a bit of detail about a potential meeting of the two, his statement is good enough for Spidey fans to get their hopes up. After all, Venom director Reuben Fleischer previously teased in an interview with Fandom that "that's where it's all going to lead."

"And that's the exciting thing, because we changed the origin of Venom," he added. Fleischer thinks a story could potentially build towards Spider-Man and Venom to confront each other in the future.

For now, there's no telling if we'd actually get to see Holland's Spider-Man and how they would incorporate him well into the story. But fans are surely ecstatic for what's to come.
