With unknown origins, the killer robot has a unique ability to temporarily shut enemies' abilities down in addition to his classic utility kit (flash and grenade) and its ultimate that lets a teammate revive him when he's downed. For a closer look at the robot's abilities, you can check out our breakdown here.

Just after KAY/O was added to VALORANT on June 22 with the launch of Episode 3, Act 1, the voice actor for his agent was revealed. Gabe Kunda is the voice actor of KAY/O.

It may be hard to recognize his voice through all the voice synthesizing, but you may have heard his voice dubbed over in some popular anime shows.

Kunda took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the opportunity to voice KAY/O.

Gabe Kunda is a 27-years-old Texas-based voice actor known for voicing various anime characters, including Qujappat from Code Geass, Bolura from Black Clover, Rock Lock from My Hero Academia, and Tiger from One Piece among others.

Last year, Kunda did voice work on eight TV shows and games, including Attack on Titan and Pinkapotamus.

Kunda recorded nearly 400 quotes for KAY/O in VALORANT, including agent-specific interactions, call-outs, and round-end voice lines. The most memorable line to me is when the robot activates his ultimate, and says, "You are powerless!".
