WWE superstar Sasha Banks landed the role of a lifetime after she was personally handpicked by Jon Favreau to join The Mandalorian's second season. And while her involvement in the Star Wars universe may have been brief, the incredible fan reception to Koska Reeves was more than enough to open the doors for her potential comeback down the line.

Banks, who went by her real name Mercedes Varnado in the Star Wars universe previously revealed that she isn't going to return for Season 3 but she was recently spotted at the red carpet event for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which seems to imply that she has kept close contact with Favreau.

Following her Star Wars stint, Banks returned to the wrestling world but she hasn't had that much luck as of late. In fact, "The Boss" recently suffered a nasty injury during her match with the SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair at a house show in Fayetteville, NC.

PWInsider (via ComicBook) reports that Banks is currently dealing with a leg sprain after she landed awkwardly and took a nasty bump on the mat. The severity of her condition wasn't disclosed but it's safe to assume that it's not career-threatening and she should be good to go in a couple of days.

Meanwhile, going back to Koska Reeves, with The Mandalorian's upcoming third season shifting its focus to Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze's duel over the Mandalore throne, it's unfortunate that Banks won't be making an appearance given the fact that Koska serves as an ally for Bo-Katan.

But who knows, Banks may have just been pulling an Andrew Garfield all this time and we may very well see her return in Season 3. Well, if that's the case, hopefully, she'll be given more screentime.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently in production.
