Unused Avengers: Endgame Poster Haunts Fans With Character Death

Marvel fans finally have a look at the exclusive Avengers: Endgame posters that BossLogic was supposed to release last year.

Inverse managed to get in touch with Kode Abdo/ BossLogic to ask for unused material dropped from the artist's Endgame poster project for Atom Tickets last year. While the poster that the company released featured the post-snap Avengers standing strong with a column of flames ripping through the center and Thanos at the base of the fire, BossLogic's unused art for the company featured images much more haunting.

The original concept for the poster that didn't make it to the final cut featured the pictures of the original six Avengers in different poses. The posters might seem tame, but a closer look shows the each of the Avengers turning to dust in the background.

"Here are some of the unused stuff, mainly the character posters being dusted," BossLogic wrote in an email to Inverse, "I loved the concept but it was too on the nose."

The original concept poster doesn't look at all like what BossLogic prepared for Disney and for Atom Tickets.

The fan artist was right saying that the early concept poster was too on the nose, but it sure does tug at heartstrings looking back at Endgame. It's hard not to feel your chest tightening when you think of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Captain America (Chris Evans) in Endgame.

What do you think of the posters? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
