Big things are set to happen in The Umbrella Academy Season 2. After all, the Hargreeves siblings have gone back in time in an effort to stop the Apocalypse. But has Number Five's plan to travel through time with his brothers and sisters also brought back a previously dead character?
In The White Violin, the team did everything they can to prevent Vanya Hargreeves from starting the Apocalypse. Although Allison managed to redirect Vanya's full force out in space, it also destroyed the Moon and seal their doom. The Boy decided that the only thing they could do is to go back in time and find a better way to prevent Vanya from embracing her powers.
The time-travel scene proved to be an interesting point in the season finale since it showed all the Hargreeves siblings being de-aged and going back to their teenage forms. This includes Ben Hargreeves, the dead brother who is only able to communicate to Klaus.
So does this mean that Ben has somehow been resurrected with the help of Number Five and Klaus' powers? The character is still part of the team although he was killed several years in the past. Considering that the siblings are going back to a time when they were all alive, it could mean that Ben will be flesh and blood in The Umbrella Academy Season 2.
It would be great to see all the Hargreeves siblings working together as a team that includes Ben. Although we're hoping that the second season will be announced soon, Netflix has yet to renew the series and actor Aidan Gallagher has even stated that he isn't sure if the show will get a sequel.
