Ultron Returns in Story Trailer for VR Game Avengers: Damage Control

Marvel had teased earlier this month their collaboration with ILMxLAB, Avengers: Damage Control, and now we have a story trailer bringing back old villain Ultron.

Here's the official description for the game:

Shuri has recruited your team of four to test her latest prototype design, a powerful new suit that combines Wakandan and Stark Industries technologies. When a familiar enemy from the Avengers' past seeks to steal the technology for themselves, your team must stop them before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the planet. Fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man, and more in a race to protect the world. Suit up, step in, and save the world in the ultimate Marvel Studios immersive experience.

So far, the original actors returning to reprise their roles for the game are Letitia Wright (Shuri), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Evangeline Lilly (Wasp), and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man). The game also features a lot of other heroes, but they're clearly voiced by other characters (Spider-Man doesn't sound like Tom Holland at all).

I absolutely love that the game is bringing back Ultron, as I thought he was kind of underutilized in his own film. Then again, I don't think any of this story is canon, much like ILMxLAB's Vader Immortal game which puts players themselves into the story.

If anything, Damage Control has assembled an impressive number of cast members to come back. Hopefully, there are more games down the line if this one should succeed.

Avengers: Damage Control will be available at The VOID locations for a limited time beginning Oct. 18.
