Wizards of the Coast and Ultimate Guard have teamed up to bring a brand new product for Magic: The Gathering, and it's called The SmartHive 400+ Planeswalker. Today, Ultimate Guard, the company best known for creating high-quality accessories for trading card games, has released a new teaser revealing the SmartHive 400+. Watch it below:
The SmarHive offers space for up to 4 Sidewinder 100+, 400 double-sleeved cards, Digital Life Pad 5", and your dice collection. The removable cover can also be used as a Play-Mat for your MTG tabletop games. The new Ultimate Guard product also comes with the new ZNAP CLAW locking mechanism that ensures absolutely secure premium protection for your valueable items inside.
The SmartHive they revealed has a black Xenoskin material that's probably as high-quality as their Superhive, and when opened, you can see the blue skin that can be used as a Play-Mat. The iconic MTG logo is also featured in the video. This will probably come in different colors so expect Ultimate Guard to reveal more colors for the SuperHive in the upcoming months before it releases in January 2020 in EMEA only.
