According to his Wikipedia page, the actor made his first TV appearance in One Life to Live at a relatively young age—three weeks old. From there, he had a recurring role in Guiding Light for four years, followed by a guest-star role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
He then had a number of commercials and print ads. Come 2005. He made his film debut in the Steven Spielberg movie War of the Worlds.
His next project was All the King’s Men and Little Children, both in 2006. He was then seen in Pride and Glory in 2008 and guest-starred in CSI, Private Practice and Family of Four.

He reprised his role in Lego Marvel’s Avengers and Avengers: Endgame. He also did The Nice Guys, Jurassic World and Meadowland.

Ty Simpkin’s Marvel Cinematic Universe Stint
It took six years before Ty Simpkins reprised his role as Harley Keener in Avengers: Endgame. He made a brief but mysterious appearance at the funeral of Tony Stark after Iron Man sacrificed himself to defeat Thanos (Josh Brolin) during the Battle of Earth.
Fans were first confused to see his character return to the film, all grown up, after seeing him as a kid in Iron Man 3. He was the local boy from Tennessee who met Stark after he broke into his garage, looking for shelter and food.

He eventually became an ally, helping Stark stop the Extremis attacks. The two kept in touch, and Stark had been his father figure since.
“I wasn’t really sure people would remember me or not, but I was kind of more focused on the fact that I was in the movie,” he continued.
Though he didn’t get a script for the film, the directors wanted his character to realize what Stark meant to him and how he impacted his life.

“So I just thought about what I said earlier, how Iron Man is very sentimental to me and how he felt to Harley,” he added. “I imagine Tony was really Harley’s only father figure and that they would’ve stayed in touch over the years.”
So, to effectively do that scene, Ty Simpkins took the sentimental part of his and Harley’s lives.
