Twitter Korea unveils the top five K-dramas that dominated the first half of 2022.

According to the social media platform, these series were the most talked about K-dramas from January to March of this year.

In addition, the rankings are based on Twitter's real-time broadcast as fans and viewers took to social media to discuss and express their reactions to a particular episode.

As cited by Twitter Korea, here are the top 5 trending Kdramas in the first three months of 2022.

Young Lady And Gentleman

Owning the top spot is the KBS series Young Lady And Gentleman, starring Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Se Hee, Kang Eun Tak, and Park Ha Na.

Helmed by Love to End and A Man in a Veil director Shin Chang Seok, the rom-com series follows the story of a widower with three children who still hasn't moved on over the death of his wife.

The patriarch then chose to hire a live-in tutor for his kids, but it turns out that he fell head over heels with the woman.

Young Lady And Gentleman successfully wrapped up the season with soaring viewership ratings, raking an average nationwide rating of 36.8 percent, the show's highest rating since its debut.

Moreover, the K-drama also concluded the season by garnering a perfect streak as the most-watched program to broadcast on its timeslot.

Twenty Five, Twenty One

There's no doubt why the tvN rom-com series made it to second place.

The Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk-led K-drama reigned the most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings for eight consecutive weeks since it premiered on February 12.

In addition, despite a slight decrease in its viewership rating during the finale episode, Twenty Five, Twenty One ranked first place in its time slot across all channels.
