TWICE Jihyo is one of the few K-pop idols who have had relationships publicly. She and Kang Daniel confirmed their romantic ties in 2019, although they parted ways more than a year after.
Since the breakup, many have seemingly wondered whether she has already found a new special someone in her life.

Is TWICE Jihyo Dating Anyone?
Kpop Starz reported that Jihyo is not currently in a relationship with anyone. She has not dated publicly since she parted ways with Kang Daniel in late 2020.
It remains unclear, however, if the same goes behind closed doors. She has not shared anything with the public, although it would not come as a surprise, considering idols usually keep details of their personal lives far from the spotlight.
But, the members of TWICE do not reportedly have a dating ban with the current status of their careers. As noted, artists under JYP Entertainment are not allowed to date only during trainee years and three years after the debut.
In consideration of the group’s debut, which occurred in 2015, the agency’s dating ban no longer applies to the nine female idols.

Relationship With Kang Daniel
Jihyo used to date Kang Daniel, a well-known South Korean artist. The two celebrities went public with their relationship in August 2019.
The former pair’s respective agencies confirmed, as well, their romantic ties at the time. However, they parted ways in November 2020 due to their busy schedules, according to Soompi.
Sources reportedly told Dispatch that the TWICE member and the former Wanna One member were unable to meet often because of their official activities. This was said to have ultimately led the two celebrities to focus on their work, instead.

Jihyo's Ideal Type
While Jihyo may have decided not to be in a relationship since the breakup with Kang Daniel, she revealed her ideal type in 2021. Koreaboo said she talked about the matter in some of the group’s radio broadcast engagements.
The TWICE member shared that she hopes to date someone she could be herself around when they are together. She also reportedly named actor Cho Jin Woong as her ideal type, noting that he was “very charming.”
