Makoto continues to prepare for his trading company. The residents throw a celebration in honor of it, where Makoto finally gets to talk to many of them. Makoto's power level continues to increase, and we learn just how powerful he is now in Episode 9 of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy.

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Episode 9 Recap
The two mysterious creatures guarding the forest's red lotuses are Eris and Aqua. To celebrate the beginnings of Makoto's trading company in the outside world, the residents of the demiplane throw a party. Many of them take the time to talk to Makoto and discuss their achievements and developments. Makoto asks Beren if he would like to look after the shop in the rented space in Tsige. The dwarf happily agrees.
While Mio and Tomoe were eating in the forest, they felt Makoto's presence disappear, causing them to panic. They find him training with his bow for target practice. Tomoe explains that when he was using his bow, this caused his consciousness to flicker, blending into the surroundings. While crying, Mio says that people can only do something like that when they die.
Makoto's focused state feels like dying and being reborn. Makoto tries to comfort them by saying he's alive, but there's another problem—his mana is continuously increasing because of this. His current mana level is now at par with the goddess. Tomoe says that this is going to be bad news if the goddess finds out about it.
Makoto is distressed because of the current events, and in his confused state, he ends up in a red-light district. Tomoe and Mio immediately drag him off a prostitute, bringing him back to the inn angrily. The two of them try to sleep with Makoto, who escapes by returning to the demiplane. Mio apologizes the next day.
She and Makoto return to the Tinarak Forest to check out the flowers. They encounter Eris, Aqua, and a couple of adventurers. One of them was the prostitute that Makoto saw the previous night. Mio becomes enraged because her time with Makoto was interrupted. Eris and Aqua begin to attack, but Makoto easily deflects them while protecting the adventurers at the same time.
