Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu, best known as Irina: the Vampire Cosmonaut on Funimation is an alternative history fantasy anime about the first person to reach the moon; a vampire girl! Two superpowers, the Zirnitra Union and the United Kingdom of Arnak (none of which remind us of anything, of course) are fighting to prevail in space.

To achieve this goal first, Zirnitra introduces the Nosferatu project. As part of it, Irina Luminescu, a vampire girl, becomes a test subject for the conditions expected in space, with plans to be sent to the moon later on. Lev Leps, a backup astronaut candidate, oversees Irina's training. The two come close through their shared dream to reach the moon.

For those craving an English dub for Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu, we have good news. The recently-announced English dub is already being released on Funimation, since the 14th of November, 2021. So far, only the first episode has been dubbed in English, but we expect one additional episode to be dubbed weekly.

Funimation recently announced the cast for the English dub of Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu. The main girl’s voice is Irina Ballard, an experienced actor who has previously appeared in Fullmetal Alchemist and Black Butler. More recently, she’s been the voice of Mizuho in Sonny Boy, and Kagura in Fruits Basket.

In the role of Lev Leps, we have Stephen Fu, who previously held roles in My Hero Academia, Black Clover, and Wonder Egg Priority.

Other cast members include Jad Saxton as Anya, Mark Stoddard as Korovin, and Marcus Stimac as Viktor.
