Transformers: The Last Knight Details Showcased at CinemaCon

Some people may have lost count of how many Transformers movies there have been under Michael Bay's belt. And the latest one, Transformers: The Last Knight, isn't helping because he has even removed the numbering for this version.

But this seems to be a deliberate move on his part. At CinemaCon, Bay revealed that his goal was to give the franchise a new take.

"This is not a number five. This feels like a brand new, fresh look into the Transformers."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, apparently, the studio is setting up a Transformers Cinematic Universe with Akiva Goldsman at the forefront back in 2015. Since then, The Last Knight was the first fruit of that labor.

Again, there are no footages available. However, the source provided some details, including the fact that the movie will feature Medieval England complete with knights and arrows. Soon robot dragons are joining the fray—suggesting that Paramount better release this clip to the public fast for better understanding.

From the looks of it, Transformers: The Last Knight will merge the old with the modern times. And the good Autobots seem to be on the run not just from their sworn enemies, but also from humans. But it seems that Anthony Hopkins character isn't one of those, since the clip also shows him being buddies with a British Transformer.

Transformers: The Last Knight will be out in theaters on June 23.
