Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Shares First Look at Autobots and Terrorcons

The Autobots are finally here! Director Steven Caple Jr. has just shared our first look at the Autobots and Terrorcons in their vehicle alt-modes in the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Caple shared the photos on his official Instagram account along with a simple caption: "The squad is out..." he wrote before adding the hashtag #transformers. Make sure to swipe through the post to see all the images.

The first photo features the filmmaker with the Autobots which includes Optimus Prime as a 1979 Kenworth K100 semi-truck, Mirage as a blue-and-silver Porsche 964, Arcee as a red-and-white Ducati 916 motorcycle, and Wheeljack as a 1964 Volkswagen Classic Devon Camper van. Interestingly, Bumblebee is an off-road safari variant of a Chevrolet Camaro.

In the second image, we see the villainous Terrorcons led by Scourge, who is a black Kenworth JF logging truck. Nightbird is a black-and-purple Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 while one Terrorcon, an orange GM C4500 Topkick tow-truck, remains unidentified.

It's a great first look at the Autobots and Terrorcons, and it's an awesome start. Hopefully, we'll get to see the Maximals and Predacons soon.

Rise of the Beasts serves as a sequel to Bumblebee and will introduce new characters from Transformers: Beast Wars. The film will star Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback. It will also bring back the legendary Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman as the voice of Optimus Primal.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is scheduled for release on June 24, 2022.
