Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is almost here, and with a new movie comes another Awesome Mix of songs courtesy of Peter Quill's mom. The track list for Awesome Mix Vol. 2 has just been revealed, and it includes songs from the trailer as well as some real cool hits.

Songs from the trailers include Fleetwood Mac's The Chain and Fox on the Run by Sweet. It's odd that David Bowie's Suffragette City didn't make it into the mix since it was also in a teaser. I was expecting another Bowie song to make it into the playlist after Moonage Daydream was in the first one — Bowie was all about space in the 70s after all.
Cat Stevens' Father and Son is also in the list, and I'm pretty sure it's going to bring in some tears between Peter Quill and his father; critics have been saying that this movie is funny as it is touching. I'm getting feels just by thinking of the song playing in the movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes out on May 5, but Awesome Mix Vol. 2 releases on April 21.
