Toy Reveals What Ego Will Look Like in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

It has been revealed that Star Lord's father in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 will be Ego the Living Planet, but we haven't really gotten a good look at him. However, advertising for an Ego action figure that will be released in August 2017 has given us our best look yet, CinemaBlendreports. You can see it below:

Star Lord's figure on the left is pretty photo-realistic, so this gives us a pretty good idea of what Ego on the right will look like in live-action. Kurt Russell will be playing Star Lord's father, also known as Ego, The Living Planet. He's a living intelligent planet who can take a human form when he desires.

You can definitely see some family resemblance in the picture. However, the official descritption by Entertainment Earth for the toys reveals there may be a bit of a family feud. Read it below:

Roguish and unpredictable, Ego and Star-Lord share many of the same qualities as father and son. But when it comes to defending the galaxy as each sees fit, their approaches unquestionably differ. I'm looking forward to seeing how the relationship between Ego and Star Lord will play out. It's certainly a departure from the comics, where Star Lord had a totally different dad. What do you think?
