Tom Holland Wants Peter Parker To Stay Alive To Meet Miles Morales

There might be a whole lot of uncertainty surrounding Spider-Man's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since the Spider-Man agreement between Sony and Disney fell through, but there's still a lot of hope that Tom Holland stays over at Marvel.

Even though he can't be quite sure if he's going to stay at the MCU, the Spider-Man: Far From Home star hopes that his version of the web-slinger isn't going to be killed off before he gets to meet Miles Morales.

GQ just recently posted an interview with Holland and as part of the media blitz with the publication, the actor was made to go undercover on Reddit, YouTube, and Twitter, to answer fans' questions. The Marvel star was then asked whether or not Peter would die for Marvel to give Miles Morales a starring role in a live-action movie, and Holland didn't seem quite happy with the idea.

"Well, I hope that doesn't happen because I would love to share the screen with Miles," Holland explained, "I think that would be cool, and I don't want to die because I really enjoy playing Peter Parker, so that would kind of be a bit of a bummer."

While it would make sense for Peter Parker to die to introduce Miles Morales into the MCU, it would definitely be a major disappointment. Who wouldn't want to see Peter Parker and Miles Morales hanging together like in Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse? But then again, we really can't be sure about Holland's future in the MCU now that the Spider-Man agreement between Disney and Sony's fallen through.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to have its digital release sometime this October.
