Though Jason Momoa and Tom Holland may be on different sides of the superhero fence, Holland thinks that Momoa is the perfect choice to play classic Spider-Man villain, Kraven the Hunter.
In an interview with MTV, Holland says:
"You know what? Kraven is one of my favorites for a cameo. I always wanted Aquaman to play Kraven, but he's now DC. I thought that would be super cool."
In the comics, Kraven is a man obsessed with hunting the wildest and most dangerous animals, and his obsession has lead him to try and hunt even Spider-Man down. Kraven is also half-brother to the Spidey villain Chameleon, and he's one of the founding members of the Sinster Six.
I think Holland's choice for casting is actually pretty spot on! Before Momoa was cast as Aquaman, he was pretty well known for playing the bloodthirsty Dothraki warrior Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones. He would be absolutely perfect for Kraven the Hunter. There's just one problem:
Either way, I hope Momoa doesn't have any clause on his contract that forbids him from playing Kraven in a future Spider-Man movie. After all, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has appeared in both universes already, playing Killer Croc for Suicide Squad and Kurse in Thor: The Dark World. Granted he played supporting characters, but still, these things can happen.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7.
