Marvel fans are expecting a lot from Avengers: Infinity War. Featuring a showdown between the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) and more than sixty Marvel heroes, The two-part Avengers movie is one of the most highly anticipated comicbook movies of 2018 – a film that Spider-Man star Tom Holland says fans aren't ready for.
Though the British actor has been busy promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming before it releases this Friday, Holland still has time to hype up fans about Infinity War, saying that the movie really "needs no teasing."
Speaking in an interview with The Toronto Sun, Holland tells fans that no one is ready for the ultimate Marvel smash-up movie.
"That movie literally needs no teasing. It's going to be the biggest movie of all time," Holland explained. "Believe me; no one is ready for that movie. I don't know anything about it or what it's about. I know who the villain is, but that's it. They don't let me read anything because I'm so bad at keeping secrets."
"I don't know anything about the film if I'm honest. I just know I'm in it. The funny thing about that movie is I showed up and I was like, 'Can I read the script?' And they were like, 'No, you're terrible at keeping secrets.'"
"[It's] life-changing. I've wanted to be in an Avengers movie since the beginning.If I'd ever imagined I would be playing Spider-Man in the Avengers movies, I would have kicked you in the face and said you were lying. But it really was the highlight of my career and it's something fans are not ready for. It is going to explode."
It looks like Hollad's really excited to banter with more Marvel heroes after getting the chance to interact with a number of Avengers in Captain America: Civil War last year.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits cinemas on July 7. Avengers: Infinity War on the other hand makes its way to the big screen on May 4, 2018.
