Fans didn't take the Spider-Man split between Sony and Disney/Marvel Studios well. While most of us have realized that Disney is the one at fault, the fact that Kevin Feige is in Marvel has fans worried about Peter Parker's cinematic future. Granted, this is because Spider-Man: Far From Home was a perfectly balanced film set in the MCU that managed to tell a standalone Spidey tale, but remember, Sony also made Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
It seems like Holland is remaining optimistic about the deal, telling GQ that Spider-Man is safe in Sony's hands. While the lack of MCU references in future films is going to mess with us, here is hoping Tom is right. Now, if only we knew how Sony is going to handle that amazing cliffhanger that took place in Far From Home's post-credits scene.

While some of us are hoping that a deal between Disney and Sony can be reached, fans can take solace in the fact that Spider-Man can finally crossover with Venom. It will be fun to see how Holland's Peter Parker interacts with Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock. Now if only we were more optimistic about Venom's cinematic quality.
