Tom Holland Addresses Massive Spider-Man: No Way Home Leaks

For months, fans have been speculating that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be making their triumphant return in Spider-Man: No Way Home. So far, Sony and Marvel haven't confirmed the rumors, but a lot of evidence suggests that it is very likely to be true at all. There were even alleged photos from the film that leaked recently on social media that intensified the speculations. However, Tom Holland doesn't want you to believe in any of them.

In a recent interview with Total Film, Holland addressed yet again the rumors and speculations surrounding the alleged appearance of Maguire and Garfield in the film in which he firmly denied them. He said, "People don't believe me when I say that [Maguire and Garfield] are not coming back. But people are going to have to believe me at some point."

He also discussed the appearances of former Spider-Man villains such as Alfred Molina's Doc Ock and Jamie Foxx's Electro. He said, "It means a lot to me. The first time you see Doc and the rest of the characters that come back, it's so exciting – and it's such a huge moment in cinematic history. It's three generations coming together."

He continued, "It was interesting having those guys come in because they have a certain ownership over Spider-Man in their own way, and I'm talking about Alfred and Jamie and those guys. To see Alfred come in, and have to adapt and change to the way that the films are made, but also change director, and also [the fact that] I'm now Spider-Man. It was really interesting to see these actors adapt and change what they were doing to fit the modern era."

Once again, Holland is denying that Maguire and Garfield will be making an appearance on Spider-Man: No Way Home. But of course, it is standard procedure in Marvel for anyone involved to not reveal any spoilers so, whether it's true or not, they can't confirm any rumors and speculations until they are allowed to do so or when the film is finally released. Holland has definitely learned his lesson to not reveal any spoilers.

Even though Holland wants us to believe him that the former Spider-Men will not be in the film, we could all agree that fans will not stop speculating and discussing the rumors that have been circulating around. A lot of evidence has suggested that some of them are likely to be true at all. We will find out soon enough if they are real once we get to see the second trailer or when we finally see the film next month.
