Tom Holland Promises 'Very Violent' Fight Scenes in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be the biggest Spider-Man movie yet thanks to its multiversal aspect and the appearances of the past Spider-Man villains. There's also the rumored appearances of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield which may be the cherry on top if they do eventually show up in the film.

Given that Spider-Man will be facing a lot of villains, we should be expecting a lot of fights to happen. In an interview with TV Globo, Tom Holland teased a bit about the fight sequences in the upcoming film in which he made a bold promise that they are going to be "very violent." He said (according to the translation by Twitter user @ggsquadxoxo), "There are some fight scenes in this movie that are very violent. And it's a fighting style different from what we've seen before. But really you will get to see Spider-Man using his fists in a 'fight or flight' situation."

It's a big statement for Holland to say that the fight scenes in No Way Home will be "very violent," especially since he has faced numerous villains in previous MCU films such as the Vulture, Mysterio, Thanos, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, and more. He even fought some of the members of the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War.

However, he will be facing at least five villains in the same film so it makes sense that the fight scenes might be "very violent." It is not a joke to face the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Sandman, The Lizard, and Electro all around the same time. Each of them is a different opponent from one another and it would require him a lot of fighting to do and possibly some assistance from the Spider-Men from the other universes (if the long-time speculations do happen).

For months, fans have been discussing the different rumors and speculations about the film and there's no doubt that the anticipation has been through-the-roof given that different ticketing sites crashed when tickets went on sale and how they also broke the pre-sales record on Fandango which is the biggest one since Avengers: Endgame. Some fans were even fighting just for the tickets. Everyone is indeed excited.
