Tom Hiddleston Throws Shade at WandaVision Star Paul Bettany for Stealing Loki's Gimmick

It's no secret that Loki is the king of fake deaths in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But what happens when Vision tries to take his throne? Tom Hiddleston has jokingly thrown shade at Paul Bettany for trying to steal the God of Mischief's gimmick in WandaVision.

Today is the premiere date of WandaVision and the series celebrated this with several awesome events for the MCU fans. For instance, there was a virtual launch event where fans got to ask questions directed to Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen. But hold on, there's a "fan" named "Tom H." who had a strange question for the Knight's Tale actor. Check it out below.

In the video, Hiddleston asks Bettany whether Vision dying then coming back to life is technical "kind of a Loki thing." Not surprisingly, Bettany was quick to apologize to his Avengers: Infinity War co-star whose character was also killed off in the same film.

"It's true, I'm totally stealing your thunder, Tom. I'm so sorry," Bettany said. Hiddleston appears to accept the apology with a smug smile.

It's awesome to see that the cast of WandaVision is getting along well with the cast of the Loki series which is expected to premiere later this year. For now, it's unclear if Bettany, Olsen, and Hiddleston will ever get to share another film but we're loving the idea of seeing them in this virtual reunion.

The synopsis for WandaVision reads as follows:

"Marvel Studios' WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems."

So did Vision actually steal Loki's gimmick? We'll find out for sure in WandaVision later today.
