Tom Hiddleston May Have Confirmed His Leading Role In Loki Series

People have been concerned about the highly anticipated Loki series that is set to air on Disney+. After all, there have been reports that Tom Hiddleston will only narrate the show and that the God of Mischief will be portrayed by a different actor. Interestingly, the Avengers: Infinity War star may have revealed that he is the lead star of the series.

Hiddleston recently made an appearance at the ACE Comic Con in Phoenix where he finally spoke up about his new Marvel project (via ComicBook.com). The Thor: Ragnarok star was understandably careful with what he said about the series.

"I think I posted something about this. It's very exciting. I cannot say much about it, I'm afraid," Hiddleston said before adding, "Time will tell."

There's not much to go on here other than the fact that the Loki series is indeed happening. But why did Hiddleston say that "time will tell" when it comes to the show? Some fans believe it meant that the Kong: Skull Island actor is in negotiations to headline the series. After all, the Marvel shows on Disney+ are expected to have a major budget and the Loki series is aiming to bring Hiddleston in to play the God of Mischief once again.

Although it's still unclear if Hiddleston will actually be the lead in the Disney+ show, he is still a busy man. Hiddleston is set to appear alongside Daredevil star Charlie Cox in the new London play Betrayal. He might also have a small cameo in Avengers: Endgame.
