There's a lot of anticipation right now for Thor: Love and Thunder as it will feature the God of Thunder's next chapter in the MCU as well as the return of Jane Foster who is now taking the mantle of the Mighty Thor.
However, one key character from the Thor films whose appearance is still in question is Loki due to his death in Avengers: Infinity War and his alternate version having his own series as well.
Speaking with GamesRadar+, Tom Hiddleston was asked whether he is going to show up in Thor: Love and Thunder in some capacity. However, as expected, the actor played coy with his response although he did also say that he is not doing the Andrew Garfield playbook regarding the way he is addressing the question.
"I’m living in a question mark," Hiddleston said. "It’s all unknown. You know, I used to think that I could predict these things, but I literally have no idea. And I’m not even doing an Andrew Garfield! I just don’t know."
However, even though Hiddleston doesn't have a definitive answer regarding his potential appearance in the upcoming film, he did share his excitement about the second season of Loki which is expected to begin filming soon.
"What can I say? It’s very much continuing to excite and challenge me," Hiddleston said. "At the end of season 1, the story isn’t over. I think that’s really clear. Loki’s almost more unstable, and as turbulent and passionate and chaotic as he’s ever been. And maybe some of that needs resolution. There’s stuff to unpack."
While Hiddleston was vague on his response regarding the possibility of showing up in Thor: Love and Thunder, he did imply that there is a chance that it could actually happen. Of course, if he is indeed going to be in the film, he has to keep it a secret. The question now is what kind of role will he have despite his character's fate in the main MCU. There is a chance that he could appear in a flashback or dream sequence. We will never know the answer until we see the film.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on July 8.
