If you're a huge fan of Harry Potter, there is little doubt that you have come across some interesting fan fiction about Harry's true relationship with Draco Malfoy. Most of these tales suggest that there was something else happening between Harry and Draco and the fans who wrote these stories are not the only ones who think so. Even Tom Felton has confirmed that yes, Harry was deeply in love with his character.
Felton recently revealed the truth during a segment of In The Know on AOL where he played a game called "Fact or Fanfic" with Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint (via Cosmopolitan). At one point, Grint posed a question about Harry's true feelings and Felton didn't even blink.
"Fact or fanfic? Even while he was with Ginny, Harry was always in love with Draco," Grint asked.
"Ah!" Felton said with a smile. "I think it was clearly a fact. Harry was constantly crushing on Draco. He just couldn't hide it."
But wait, there's more! Grint pointed out that Harry "made quite an impression on Ron as well" and Felton immediately agreed.
"Yes," he said. "Well, exactly. It could have gone either way, really."
And just like that, thousands of Harry Potter fans who have been shipping Draco/Harry or Ron/Harry realized that there could have been an amazing love triangle.
Of course, it is important to point out that Grint and Felton were joking about the whole thing. Nevertheless, fans are happy that Felton confirmed that Harry's love for Draco is a "fact."
