Tom Cruise is Teaming Up with Space X to Shoot a Film IN SPACE

Tom Cruise has managed to make himself an action hero among action heroes with all the crazy stunts he performs for the Mission Impossible films, but now he's setting his sights on a film that will be shot where "no man has gone before."

According to Deadline, Cruise is apparently teaming up with Elon Musk's Space X to shoot the first movie to be filmed in space. The film is still in very early stages of production, so for now, we still don't have any kind of story; no studio is even attached to the project yet.

No doubt, Cruise has done some crazy stuff in front of the camera from hanging on the side of a plane to scaling the Burj Kalifa. I wonder what kind of stunt he has in store for a movie in space, counting that everyone up there is concerned about keeping the environment as safe as possible.

If you ask me, this movie in space could work as some kind of biopic or mockumentary, giving us a realistic take on what it's like to be in the International Space Station. Films like Interstellar and Ad Astra have already proven that we could shoot action sequences safely here on Earth, and I think it would be crazy to try and bring that kind of adrenaline to a place like a space station.

We don't have any tentative release date for Cruise's space movie yet, but hopefully we can get an update before the year ends.
