Kakucho looks at the situation outside. With the current speed of the train, they are bound to crash into everyone. However, Takemichi is still trying to figure out where the brakes are.
Sanzu watches from afar, confident that the train isn't going to stop as fast as Kakucho and Takemichi would hope for. Takemichi calls for Kakucho's help, but Kakucho collapses, and his wound is actually deeper than what Takemichi thought.
Kakucho tells Takemichi to get off the train since he'll die if he doesn't. Takemichi says he's fine, and it should be Kakucho who should get out of the train. The train continues to move at an alarming speed, and the others see it and start panicking.
Takemichi gets ahold of what he thinks are the brakes, screaming that he will stop the train. Kakucho notices Takemichi still puts his friends above himself and admires him for that.
Kakucho tells Takemichi to move, but Takemichi tells him they will pull on the brakes together. However, Kakucho grabs Takemichi by the collar and pulls him out of the train.
Kakucho smiles at Takemichi and says he'll get Sanzu for him. Kakucho refuses to make his death meaningless, so he's very determined to stop the train.
Members of the Kanto Manji and Tokyo Manji Gang notice the train moving quickly, and they start to run. Kakucho starts freaking out, but the image of Izana appears.
Izana says he continues to be reckless, but that's what makes Kakucho himself. He offers to help Kakucho with the brakes, and miraculously, the train stops.
Takemichi runs to the front of the train, cheering for Kakucho. However, when he gets there, Kakucho is already unconscious.
