Kakucho begins throwing punches at Mikey, who is just taking it all in and not fighting back. Kakucho asks him what's wrong because he thinks that Mikey is holding himself back. Mikey is just standing there, emotionless. Staring at his hand, he tells Draken about how empty he feels inside. His dark impulses start to emerge, showing a completely different side of him. Meanwhile, South is feeling incredibly pumped over his battle with Senju. He tells her about how great he feels right now, saying that "a new rhythm is born." He manages to land a hit on her, sending her to the ground behind Takemichi. South walks over to them and puts his hand on Takemichi's shoulder, telling him to move aside.
At that moment, Takemichi sees a vision of South on the floor, with a bloody face. He then realizes that he's dead. This leaves Takemichi confused, considering South's fighting prowess. While South is about to approach Senju, Kakucho is sent flying in his direction. Mikey stands in front of South with a dead expression.
