As of this writing, there is no word on the English dub release date of Tokyo Mew Mew New. However, once confirmed, it will most likely be available on HIDIVE.

For fans, they will have to watch the anime in its original Japanese dub with English subtitles for the time being.

The original anime series, on the other hand, has been dubbed into English. However, only 26 of the 52 episodes have been dubbed into English, with only 23 episodes being released in the United States.

The first 23 episodes aired on 4Kids, with the remaining three episodes airing on YTV in Canada and the Popgirl satellite television channel in the United Kingdom.

Tokyo Mew Mew's original English dub title was Hollywood Mew Mew. In some press releases, 4kids referred to it as The Mew Mews. When the anime first aired, the title was changed to Mew Mew Power.

The English dub of Mew Mew Power differs greatly from the original Japanese dub. With all of the characters and episodes renamed, scenes skipped and cut, and the storyline changed, the English dub version feels like a completely different show.

A new score was also added to the music, and the opening song was changed to "Team-Up," performed by Bree Sharp and Mollie Weaver. Not to mention that all of the background and insert songs were replaced.

All of these changes were made in an attempt to localize the anime and distance it from its Japanese roots.

In any case, Tokyo Mew Mew New, like other recently released anime shows, will most likely stay true to its Japanese origins once dubbed into English.
