Last month, fans learned that the Blu-ray release of Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly was censored. Now, Toei is apologizing for the censorship and is now offering customers a refund. The Blu-ray release censored the obscene hand gestures made by some of the film's characters, and below, you can see the comparison of the original version and the altered one via Twitter user Nappasan:

According to Toei, the scenes were changed as not to negatively influence children but the problem was that the Blu-ray's jacket said that this version was not edited. It specifically stated that even though there were dialogues and scenes that would now be considered inappropriate, this was a compilation of the original work, which was of historical importance.

Now, Toei has apologized for the mistake and is now offering refunds for customers in Japan.
