Tobey Maguire Reveals What's So Special About His Spider-Man Costume in No Way Home

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home's box-office success reuniting three-generation of Spider-Man in a highly-anticipated film is surely one of Marvel's best. Only a few weeks away from digital release, fans are still hyped about the film and still wonder if the two Spider-Man, Tobey and Andrew will remain in the MCU.

Connecting Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to reprise their roles as Peter Parker to join Tom Holland as the current Spider-Man in the MCU easily made No Way Home one of the best cross-overs in the history of cinema. Together with five villains from different franchises of Sony, the film made us reminisce on the previous Spider-Man films of different generations.

But the one scene that surely made us over the moon is when Sony's first-ever Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire entered a portal from his universe and joins Holland and Garfield in the film. After 15 years since his last appearance as Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3, Maguire is now back in his classic red and blue Spider-Man costume.

The official Twitter page of Spider-Man: No Way Home just-released video featuring a brief interview with the three Spider-Man.

In the video, Maguire discussed how hard it is to get in and out of the costume, but once he's wearing it, he feels more comfortable suited up as the classic Spider-Man again.

Maguire explained, "The suit can definitely be a challenge at times when you gotta get in the full thing. But then, by getting comfortable in it, there is something funny, it just helps as an actor when you get in your costume, you begin to feel it more and embody it more. I’m still processing, it’s all happening still, I’m catching up."

Seeing Maguire again suited up as Spider-Man after more than a decade is surely an experience a fan cant miss. The hard work that Marvel and Sony pulled through to put Garfield and Maguire in the film pays off as No Way Home just dethroned James Cameron's Avatar in the domestic box office.

Whether Tobey Maguire is back to reprise his role as Spider-Man in the future projects of the MCU is still unknown. However, there are rumors that Maguire will make a cameo in the Doctor Strange sequel, Multiverse of Madness.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set for digital release on March 22.
