Titans Season 2 Star Joshua Orpin Recreates Superboy's Comic Book Look


It looks like Joshua Orpin is completely embracing his new role in Titans Season 2. The Australian actor has replicated one of Superboy's iconic looks from the DC comic books.

Orpin posted the image on his Instagram account with an interesting caption. Take a look at the photo below.

"A lot of fakes popping up lately... But there's only one Superboy," Orpin wrote before adding the hashtags #titans, #subject13, and #identitytheftisnotajokejim.

Fans immediately recognized the pose. It's an obvious reference to the variant cover art illustrated by Babs Tarr.

It's easy to understand by Orpin is excited about taking on the role. After all, Superboy has already been teased in the Titans Season 1 finale and has been something everyone is looking forward to in the second season. We're certainly expecting good things from Orpin later this year.

DC Universe has not yet announced when Titans Season 2 will begin production. Nevertheless, the series is set to return in late 2019.

Although it's still a long wait for Titans, fans are currently enjoying its spin-off series Doom Patrol. The show stars Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Matt Bomer as Negative Man, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Cyborg and Timothy Dalton as The Chief. Alan Tudyk portrays the main villain Mr. Nobody. Interestingly, the series has been receiving rave reviews and is expected to pave the way for Swamp Thing and the return of Titans.
